Bartholomew Players present: "Dangerous Corner" by J.B. Priestley Robert and Freda Caplan are hosting a lovely dinner at their country home. However, a chance remark by one of the guests sets off a series of devastating discoveries, unveiling a hitherto-undiscovered web of clandestine relationships and dark secrets, the disclosures of which have tragic consequences. Director Joe O'Connor says "Dangerous Corner is a fascinating and complex play full of intrigue and mystery. In Priestley's drawing-room thriller a casual comment about a music box ignites a firestorm of secrets centring on the recently-deceased brother of one of the characters. As revelation after revelation comes out the characters come more into view, revealing their strengths, weaknesses and of course, their all-too-human mistakes. From the same writer as An Inspector Calls, Dangerous Corner will be an evening to remember." As usual, we are partnering with a local group for our Charity Supper Show. This time Guideposts in Witney will assist us in organising the evening in return for a share of the profits. Guideposts works to make a lasting difference to the lives of those affected by the challenges of caring, ageing, learning disabilities and mental health. We look forward to seeing you!
