WHERE DO YOU MEET?
During normal times we meet every Wednesday at Eynsham Village Hall in Back Lane. See the bottom of the page for a map.
HOW MANY PLAYS DO YOU PERFORM EACH YEAR?
We put on two productions a year - in May and November - and occasionally enter drama festivals too.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO JOIN?
DO I NEED ANY EXPERIENCE?
If you've never experienced the buzz of pulling off a dazzling performance and getting acclaim from an appreciative audience, we can give you that opportunity. We like to involve new members as soon as we can, even if that means only a small part at first.
ARE YOU JUST LOOKING FOR ACTORS?
Not at all! Of course we do welcome anyone interested in acting, but if you would rather work behind the scenes, there are plenty of roles for you to make your mark, including set-building and decorating, sound and lighting, props, costumes, make-up, prompt, publicity, front-of-house, refreshments as well as producer, stage manager and director.
WHEN IS YOUR NEXT PRODUCTION?
It’s official – sadly we have decided that all the constraints imposed because of the corona virus have made our May 2021 show unviable.
Limited numbers due to social distancing, the ongoing risk of infection during rehearsal, the burden of health and safety measures all mean that it isimpractical to deliver our usual theatrical extravaganza.
Watch this space for further developments about November 2021 – we really hope (and will do our best) to have an Autumn show!
WHAT ABOUT COVID-19?
Due to the present situation regarding the rules for social distancing we are not holing our usual meetings – but once we are able to do so we will begin meeting up and rehearsing again.
